If it’s not pink, how do we girlies know to watch it?

Imagine my delight when I came across the following DVDs on display in a supermarket yesterday! I now know what films to watch based on a simple colour coded system -if it’s meant for girls to watch it comes in a pink case. Yay. And these photos only show a tiny selection of the “chick flick” titles on offer. Now where are those blue films for boys??

if it wasn't PINK girls wouldn't know to watch it

They even have little pink flowers and butterflies! That is going to be so useful! So many times I’ve gone to pick a film and paused in confusion ‘But wait’ I said to myself ‘Which film is for me, a girl?’ and I’ve staggered around in confusion and then inevitably made a bad decision. Oh there’s nothing sadder than putting on a newly bought DVD and discovering it’s an iccky boy film about war and science and aliens eating people. It hurts my poor womans eyes. Inevitably I swoon right into the popcorn – which is very inconvienient and messes up my hair. Finally someone has thought to save me from this problem!
